Going to jump ahead to the present for a bit because, ladies and gentlemen, this is big news...it snowed in the southern region of Texas! Yes, it actually snowed one night and it was all everyone talked about the next day. All Facebook posts and Snapchat feeds were full of people celebrating the white, fluffy precipitation. I know, I know...all of you who are used to snow are laughing right now. You have to remember though, the last time it snowed in the Houston area was, I think, in 2009. Even then, it wasn't much and didn't really stick. So waking up to see everything still coated with a couple of inches of snow was an amazing sight. My street looked like one big Christmas card. I must say, I'm a little spoiled now, and I want to see this every year.
